ROCKSTARS!!!

While in Cabo last week, we met the legendary rockstar Sammy Hagar and we were able to snag a photo op with him before his rather scary security detail whisked him and his wife away to Cabo Wabo where we later saw him perform his old Van Halen hits.

Jack's 2 favorite cars at the Daytona 500

Yes, Jack watched Daytona on Sunday afternoon and quickly found his two favorites. The #07 Jack Daniels car with "JACK" boldly printed on the hood and the #18 M&M car. He got very excited when "it says me" took the lead for a brief period, only to be spun out by Montoya and Jack said, "Oh, i'm smoking"

In the end, his favorite number, #12, won the race.

NASCAR's official results did not however list Lightening McQueen among the top finishers despite what Jack says.

Jack & Lucky

Jack had great weather to play outside all weekend with Nanny and Lucky. He played hoops, football, baseball, golf and rockets.... repeatedly. We all want his energy!

He also helped Daddy rake the leaves, but quickly figured out it was not much fun and went back to playing, or sitting in the leaves.

Jack also go to go to Chuck-E-Cheese, Golf Galaxy, the mall and to Threadgill's while Nanny & Pop watched after him. Mommy was in Michigan and Daddy went to the golf course!

Our "other" 10th anniversary

Today is the 10th anniversary of adopting Lucky. What started as simple idea of going to look at puppies with no intention of actually bringing one home turned into one of our top 3 ideas ever.

Jack enjoyed watching Tom Brady and the Patriots win the AFC Championship, especially since Daddy let him jump on the new mattress during the game. Later when asked what team what the "G" team was, he responded "Oh, the Packers!" and told us that "Bret Farrrv" is the quarterback for them. Luckily he was in bed when Favre threw the pick to miss out on the Super Bowl. Jack will definitely be cheering on his distant cousin Tom in the big game.....

Not certain, but I think Jack was asking Abby to go on a date. Maybe to Chucky Cheese or to the golfing range.....
